About Our Faith & Worldwide Family
Adventists are a global, Christian movement who believe a Trinity of three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - make up one God. Our salvation is possible because Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of all peoples of our world, He rose from the dead on the third day, and victory was won for everyone!
When He returned to heaven after the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Like millions of Adventists, we at Manchester SDA Church are among the believers who look forward, with anticipation and joy for that day.
God is concerned with the quality of human life, from the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other and care for the world are vitally important to Him.
Our families, children, jobs, talents, finances, and our time are important areas of our lives where God takes an interest. We seek, through His power, to honor Him in every area of our lives.
